The Nike Air Ship / Air Jordan 1 High ’85 “New Beginnings Pack” is an extremely limited two-pack of silhouettes worn by Michael Jordan during his rookie year. Jordan Brand’s special tribute to both the 2020 NBA All-Star Weekend and Jordan’s career results in the release of a Jordan 1 colorway worn by the mid-80s. In the case of the Air Ship, the mysterious high-top had been tucked away in the vault until it was given this release as part of the “New Beginnings Pack.” Both designs feature a Chicago Bulls colorway with red accents providing a burst of color. Similarities between the two iconic sneakers include perforated toes, deep Red Swoosh branding on the mid-panels and white midsoles with red traction outsoles. The AirShip is an original colorway, and the Air Jordan 1 is based off an extremely rare player exclusive that Jordan wore on court before the iconic “Chicago” colorway.
